Friends of Firefighters will be open as usual on the 12th anniversary of 9/11. We will be offering our regular services and also welcome you to drop by to say hi or have a cup of coffee. We urge you to reach out to us if you need to speak with someone.

Please note: due to the anniversary, September’s On the Arm Breakfast will not be held this week but will be held next Wednesday, the 18th.

Additional info: John and Denise display GZ Flag on side of their building each year. Flag hung at Ground Zero and was given in appreciation for their tireless, loving efforts to help responders and survivors after the September 11th attacks. If anyone is available to assist on Sept. 6th from 4:00pm in the afternoon, email John! People are needed to help on the rooftop, on the street and for set-up. Also: Looking for core group of 6-8 individuals who really want to be involved with The Flag on regular basis (moving, set up, etc.). Food and drink will be provided but feel free to bring anything you like.

World Trade Center Survivors Network’s Annual Survivors Luncheon / Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 1:30 – 3:30 PM / Woolworth Tower Kitchen
Luncheon for all those present at the site of the 2001 and 1993 attacks, those who worked or lived nearby, and rescue and recovery workers, uniformed services personnel and volunteers present the day of the attacks and in the months afterwards.
