Installment numero uno had several parts to it as we wrangled together the team. At 38 riders strong, the Friends of Firefighters FDNY component of the Ireland Ride sprawls across all the boroughs, upstate, out east, and somewhere slightly west.
Just when you thought the first email covered all of the bases, I threw this one into the mix! Our second installment proved to be even wordier than the first, but man, we’ve got a lot of logistics to cover.
One-pagers about apparel, gear, Ireland itinerary, travel necessities, and upcoming events. I guess I should stop referring to them as “one-pagers” when there are five pages at a minimum…

Meet at Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse to ride 50 miles south to Friends of Firefighters.
Have your friends and families meet us at the finish to enjoy a BBQ with wellness tune-ups (acupuncture, reiki, 10-min massage), and more!

Bike Packing Party
August 29 @ Noon
Come to Friends of Firefighters with your bike ready to be downsized into Tetris pieces, as we securely pack our rides for the flight to Dublin.
*Note: All packing materials will be provided, with some food to boot. Feel free to bring snacks & any beverages of your liking.
