Come join us on Sept 17th when the San Diego Padres meet the New York Mets at Citifield! Thanks to the Mets Foundation, Friends of Firefighters will be the 50/50 raffle recipient.
We are requesting volunteers to help us with 50/50 raffle ticket sales through the 7th inning.

Friends of Firefighters provides independent, confidential, and free mental health counseling and wellness services to active and retired FDNY firefighters and their family members.
Friends of Firefighters was founded days after September 11, 2001, providing meals for exhausted rescue workers, facilitating support at funerals and memorials, and ultimately listening and responding to firefighters’ request for mental health and wellness services.
Firefighters face trauma every day, impacting their physical and mental health, as well as that of their families, even long after retirement. Friends of Firefighters understands the common effects of the job, such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, injury and sickness, strains on relationships and family life, loneliness after retirement, or struggles with addiction.
Today, Friends of Firefighters’ FREE programs and services connect active and retired firefighters and their families with mental health and wellness services. Firefighters are there for us in some of the worst hours of our lives and it is a privilege to be there for them in their times of need.
Friends of Firefighters is a is registered 501c3 not-for-profit organization.
Pasta Palooza Firehouse Cook-Off at Luana'a!
Come enjoy the unique interpretation of Pasta Palooza as NY’s Bravest compete for the best pasta dish! During this fall community engagement event, we invite you to come meet members of the FDNY and come learn about our mission here at Friends of Firefighters!

NY Islanders - First Responders Night 2026
Friends of Firefighters is excited to celebrate First Responders Night with the New York Islanders in Jan 2026!
Tickets will include: game ticket, souvenir and a charitable donation to Friends of Firefighters to support our mission in providing free, independent and confidential mental health and wellness services to active and retired members of the FDNY, their children and spouses.
Can’t wait to kick off the new year together in January!
